JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles is an innovative, worldwide project conceived by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Occupying two floors in the Ovation Hollywood complex, JAPAN HOUSE features a 6000 sq. ft. gallery space to showcase the very best of Japanese art, design, and innovation with rotating exhibitions.
As the main designer for JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, this partnership has provided me numerous opportunities to design with diverse mediums, spanning from creating brochures for their exhibits, designing posters and billboards showcased around the city, and crafting animated trailers featured at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.
I also had the opportunity to design the exhibition logo for “Symbiosis | Living Island,” featuring the Inujima “Art House Project” developed in collaboration with world reknown architect, Kazuyo Sejima.
Roles: Art Direction, Visual Design, Brand Identity, Print Design, Animation
